Hier is my storie:

My naam is Carina Venter.

This is my story:

My name is Carina Venter. On the 17thof November 2017, I was diagnosed with a bronchial carcinoma (a form of lung cancer), even though I have never smoked in my life. Traditional treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy were not an option, mainly because I was frightened by the side effects thereof.

On the 4th January 2019, I suffered another setback when my husband and two youngest children (8 and 11 years old respectively) passed away in a car accident. The fact that my two eldest children are still with me, has just made me more resolute to get well.

A friend told me of a doctor in Cape Town, who performs alternative and natural treatments on cancer patients. I had my first consultation with him on the 20thMay 2019. On the 29thMay 2019, a biopsy was performed, where after these cancerous cells were sent to a laboratory in the United Kingdom. At this laboratory, these cells are cultivated until there are approximately 2 million cells. Sixty different treatments are then tested on these cells in order to establish the best possible treatment.

I do not have a medical aid and some of my family members established a help fund last year to contribute to the immense cost. Should anybody be willing to contribute to this fund, it would be highly appreciated.
